Chien Shiung Wu Biography Informational Poster

Informational poster about the biography of Chinese American physicist Chien Shiung Wu. This poster is to celebrate women in science, as well as recognizing Wu's particular struggles as an Asian American woman in a male-dominated field. 

 

Chien Shiung Wu is known for her contribution to nuclear and particle physics. From her groundbreaking 1950s experiment, Wu revealed parity violation. which changed the landscape of particle physics completely. Wu also worked on the Manhattan Project during World War II, helping develop the process of beta decay of uranium.
